When it comes to being fit and wealthy. There is a direct connection between the two. As you study more and more of the wealthy. They are contributing exercise and being fit to their success. 70% of the wealthy eat less than 300 junk food calories per day. 97% of the poor eat more than 300 calories of junk food per day. 76% of the wealthy exercise four days a week. Only 12% of the poor exercise 4 days a week. As you can see. Exercise plays a big part n the wealthy.
Fitness runs deep in my blood and has been a part of my life for many years. As far back as I can remember, I was an athlete and embraced fitness. I am a true believer in exercise as an important part to anyone that wants to perform at a high level. Whether it be in the boardroom, playing field, or everyday life. Most of my adult life I have taught fitness as a lifestyle. You must choose to be healthy. I have witnessed many individuals that work extremely hard in business, but most neglect their health. I like to say, What good is your wealth without your health. This is the time you are suppose to enjoy life, but you cannot if you are in poor health, right?
If you ignore your health you will find those years spent taking medications and visiting doctors. Because you have neglected your health you will most likely be in some kind of constant aches or pains. You do not want to work hard all your life and get to retirement and not be able to enjoy it, do you? Fitness has to start now. Just decide to decide. The younger you start the better, but it is never too late to start. Exercise is the best anti aging medicine around. Exercise and fitness play a vital role in your everyday success. Take a look and study high performance individuals. Those People, whose names you would recognize and consider successful in the business world have exercise/fitness as part of their regimen. Whether it be a weight lifting routine, yoga, running or some sort of functional fitness, They all had it part of their daily routine. Success leaves clues. So does failure. If wealthy high performing individuals are making fitness a part of their daily routine and you want to experience success too then you may have to do what they do. Make sense? Would it not make sense for you to incorporate some sort of daily fitness regimen in to your life?
In addition to a regular fitness routine, nutrition cannot be overlooked. Eating healthy and properly fueling your body is imperative. Successful individuals also take their nutrition seriously, as well. I want to encourage you to find a good program or plan and get your health on track. There are many programs out there to choose from. I am, personally, not a fan of fads diets that are the trend of the month. What I do promote is a plan that will help you change your habits and can be followed easily on a daily basis. What I mean is it will not require a special program to achieve good health. I like a healthy eating programs that allow you to go to your local supermarket and shop and buy conveniently. I am a fan of organic, locally grown I (I like supporting local farmers), and foods that are minimally processed. Sustainable fish and grass fed beef. those that are not full of hormones and steroids and other harmful medications, pesticides, etc. In addition, staying away as much as you can from GMO products is ideal. I encourage you to do the same. As you can see nutrition plays an important role. And contrary to what you may have heard or believe, you can not out exercise a bad diet. If you don’t want to be discouraged take my advise.
